It is the mission of the Department of Human Services to enhance the quality of life and self-sufficiency of people in need of social, food and  financial services.

The Human Service department personnel are responsible for outreach, ensuring that Passaic residents are aware o supportive programs and services that may be available to them. 

In addition to providing direct services, we connect you to local, state and federal social services programs that can assist in providing the support you may need. We are dedicated to providing services with respect, compassion and accountability. We support our community through empowerment, advocacy and connections to opportunities to increase the resilience of our residents in need. I
