2. Lead Grant Eligibility

    

   Lead Remediation & Abatement Grants Now Available

   City of Passaic – Division of Health

   The City of Passaic Division of Health is proud to announce that grant funding is now available for eligible homeowners and tenants to address lead-based paint hazards in their homes. If qualified, funding is provided through the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Lead Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP).

   This program helps residents make their homes safer by covering the cost of lead inspections, remediation, and full abatement in qualifying properties.

   Eligibility Requirements

   • Property must be built before 1978
   • Building must contain 1–10 residential units
   • Household income must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)

   • Available to both homeowners and tenants, if qualified.

   Subvenciones para Remediación y Eliminación de Plomo Disponibles

   Ciudad de Passaic – División de Salud

   La División de Salud de la Ciudad de Passaic se enorgullece en anunciar que ahora hay fondos de subvención disponibles para propietarios y arrendatarios elegibles que necesiten atender peligros de pintura con plomo en sus hogares. Si califican, los fondos son provistos a través del Programa de Remediación y Eliminación de Plomo (LRAP) del Departamento de Asuntos Comunitarios de Nueva Jersey (DCA).

   Este programa ayuda a los residentes a hacer sus hogares más seguros cubriendo el costo de inspecciones de plomo, remediación y eliminación completa en propiedades que cumplan con los requisitos.

   Requisitos de Elegibilidad

   • La propiedad debe haber sido construida antes de 1978
   • El edificio debe contener entre 1 y 10 unidades residenciales
   • Los ingresos del hogar deben estar en o por debajo del 80% del Ingreso Medio del Área (AMI)
