The City of Passaic seeks a skilled and detail-oriented administrative professional to serve as a full-time Secretarial Assistant to the Office of Administration. The ideal candidate is strong in time and project management and has excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in computer use, scanning and electronic filing is required. Candidates must also possess advanced writing skills and knowledge of office procedures and practices. Duties include, but are not limited to filing, copying, scanning, file management, preparation of daily correspondence, scheduling, purchase orders, customer service, benefit time tracking, monthly bill payments, preparation of memos and agendas, and other duties as required. Qualifications: High school or equivalency degree and/or additional training in secretarial science.  Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree and knowledge of Spatial Data Logic (SDL) is preferred. Minimum of four years of related experience in clerical work.  Candidates will be required to provide a writing sample. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
